Murchison Falls & Wildlife Safaris (Only $310pp)

Murchison falls National park (formerly Kabalega National park) is Uganda’s largest and oldest park covering an area of 3840 km2 accommodating a total of 600 bird species and 80 different species of mammals.
Murchison falls is composed of 3 different echo system one being the forest system, water system and savanna system. The highlight of Murchison fall trip is the river Nile which bisects the park and it is forced through a wide cliff rock of about 8m2 going through the devil’s cauldron below the falls. Here you can see couples of rainbow. Departures are carried out daily from Monday to Sunday in groups by accessbudget Safaris. DAY1
Please be at meeting point that agreed upon by the travel agent of access budget safaris at 7:00am and the latest departure will be at 7:30am. Here you meet your travel guide with a four wheel vehicle English speaking guide (Maximum of 8pax per trip). The guide is to brief you then drive to Masindi. On your way to Masindi, you may stop at Ziwa Ranch for Rhinos if mentioned in the program after that drive to the park through Masindi to Murchison falls. Here you will drive straight to the top of the falls. Take a guided walk around the thunderous Murchison falls which is optional Mini-hike to view the sister falls called Uhuru which was created in 1962 when the river bursts its banks to form two falls.
After that drive to the place of their residence, tent or an upgrade. Relax around evening, you may have a rest or set up a camp fire depending on the weather.

DAY2
Wake up early in the morning around 6:30am, grab a cup of coffee. After a quick one join your guide to drive down to the river bank where you will cross with a ferry to the northern bank for a game drive where by it will take 3-4hours. Drive around Victoria and Albert Nile to Nile slash lakes, Albert, Delta and around Buligi game tracks. Look for big four thus Elephants, Lions, Leopards, and Giraffe. Here you will come across a variety of different species of birds such as Hornbills, Shoebills, Billstocks and many others then drive back. Relax around the area of your residence at 1:45pm and then drive bank to the river bank for a boat cruise along the Nile. Here you will be in position to see a wide variety of birds an wild life, and plenty of Alligators. If those plannining to hike to the top of the forest, they will drop you off at the bottom of the falls to meet the guide who will take you up to the top of the falls. In the evening back to the area of your residence.

DAY3
8:00am pack up to board back to Kampala. On your way back through the park you will come across different species of mammals and animals. Drive out the park pass via lake Albert in Buliisa or visit Wanseko community, lunch enrout or stop for hot meals in Hoima before proceeding to Kampala. I believe on your way you will encounter a lot of beautiful sceneries and it is always advisable to reach back in Kampala a bit earlier because of the traffic.

Note this: The trip is inclusive of all park entrance’s fee and activities, two nights’ accommodation in a shared tent and sharing bathroom facilities (upgrade always available for those who may prefer to do so), all transports to and fro.
The following are exclusive; meals, drinks, tips, laundry, and any other personal item. Meals at the camp consists between $10 and $30 thus if you want to have hot meals to places such as, Red chilli, or a company Cheff. When you arrive at our offices, departing for ugandasafaris come with a medium backpack per person, excess luggage are kept in our company store for free.
Children at the age of 10 are only permitted on exclusive trips. Take all sensible precautions against malaria, drink plenty of water.
Late comers are not waited and no refund. Should such incident occur.

What you should carry along:
Torch, malaria pills, insect repellant, towel, hiking shoes, plenty of water, sun glasses.
