7 days Murchison Falls NP Safari

Day One:  Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up in the morning from your hotel and in the company of our tour guide head to Murchison falls national park. On your way you will travel through the very known Luwero Triangle where the NRM gorilla war took place. You can also visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is home to the remaining Rhinoceros in Uganda then enjoy your lunch as you continue with your journey to Murchison falls National Park. On arrival at Murchison falls, enjoy the beautiful scenery on top of the falls while taking some pictures and enjoying the cool breath of the World’s second largest river. You can also view a number of activities carried out on the falls if you have enough time.
Then after a long day, dinner and overnight as arranged in the hotel of your choice.


Day Two:  Game Drive and cruise
Wake up early in the morning for an adventurous game drive in the Northern parts of the park where you will be able to see different animals that include Elephants, Antelopes, Lions ,Giraffes etc that are only found in the African Savanna Vegetation and a variety of birds as you head towards the Budongo forest. Then go for lunch as arranged and then after lunch take a cruise on River Nile. This will lead you to the bottom of the Marvelous falls with a beautiful view of the neighboring environment like Schools then see the giants of the Nile like the Hippos Buffalos, Crocodiles not excluding a variety of birds like the Fish eagle, Kingfishers, Bee eaters, the rare Shoebill, Heron etc
Then in the evening dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.


Day Three:  Kibale National park
Wake up early in the morning and take breakfast then transfer to Kibale national park a journey that takes between 7-10 hours. You will enjoy a game drive as enter the park and you may be able to see some bird species the park being home to 325 species that are found in the Albertine rift valley and a number of animals like the chimpanzees, baboons, monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys. Arriving at the lodge of your choice late in the evening for dinner and overnight.


Day Four: Chimpanzee tracking
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast go to Kanyanchu ranger station for briefing from the ranger or guide. After briefing, you will enjoy a guided walk through the forest in search for the chimpanzees and Kibale being a tropical forest found in the northern and central parts of the park, its home to the biggest number of chimpanzees in Uganda. During the walk you are likely to come to a close view of some of the primates like baboons, monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys etc and a number of colorful butterflies. In the evening, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park as you enjoy a game drive as you go into the park then dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.


Day Five: Game drive and launch Cruise
Wake up early in the morning and prepare for an eye captivating game drive in the Northern parts of Kazinga channel. During the drive you will get a chance of seeing the early risers as they move back to their hideouts, a number of bird species, vegetation zones that is bushy grassland, acacia woodland, forest grassland and swampy vegetation then as you move to the Kasenyi plain which is East of Kasese road, you will be able to see the kobs mating ground and on this spot, there are high chances of viewing a lion waiting to catch its prey. Then return to your hotel for late breakfast and take some rest while waiting for lunch then move down to the Kazinga channel (40km long) for a boat cruise that is located between Lake George and Edward. while on the shores, you will view a variety of birds like white winged warbler, lesser and greater flamingos, African skimmer, pink backed pelican, the rare shore bill stork, martial eagles with families of Elephants and herds of Buffalos, Antelopes that gather there to drink water. You can also see crocodiles at afar distance and hippos in water then dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.


Day Six: Chimpanzee trekking
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. After breakfast begin the tracking of chimps in Kyambura gorge that is home to most of the chimps. As you keep searching, you will be entertained by other primates that you meet like the black and white Colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed and blue monkey and will also be able some birds on tree branches like blue headed sun bird, red faced woodland wabler, yellow spotted nectar, black eared ground thrush, blue breasted king fisher, crowned eagle. You will hear loud sound and the beating of tree trunks and as you get closer to the apes, you will notice how the elder chimps comb the hair of the young ones and the way they jump from one tree to another.
You can also visit Maramagambo forest for nature walks in the forest and the walk will provide you with information about the flora and fauna of the forest thus making it informative and interesting. After a tiresome morning return to the hotel for an early lunch and then transfer to Ishasha for an afternoon game drive. It is here that if you are lucky enough you can see the tree climbing lions. Then dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice



Day7:  Head to Kampala
After an adventurous safari and encounter with the apes, embark on your journey to Kampala to catch up with your onward flight back home.
