5 Days Primate Safari (Murchison & Kibalen NPs)

Day One:  MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Wake up in the morning from your hotel and in the company of our tour guide head to Murchison falls national park. On your way you will travel through the very known Luwero Triangle where the NRM gorilla war took place. You can also visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is home to the remaining Rhinoceros in Uganda then enjoy your lunch as you continue with your journey to Murchison falls National Park. On arrival at Murchison falls, enjoy the beautiful scenery on top of the falls while taking some pictures and enjoying the cool breath of the World’s second largest river. You can also view a number of activities carried out on the falls if you have enough time.
Then after a long day, dinner and overnight as arranged in the hotel of your choice


Day Two:  Boat cruise
Wake up early in the morning for an adventurous game drive in the Northern parts of the park where you will be able to see different animals that include Elephants, Antelopes, Lions ,Giraffes etc that are only found in the African Savanna Vegetation and a variety of birds as you head towards the Budongo forest. Then go for lunch as arranged and then after lunch take a cruise on River Nile. This will lead you to the bottom of the Marvelous falls with a beautiful view of the neighboring environment like Schools then see the giants of the Nile like the Hippos Buffalos, Crocodiles not excluding a variety of birds like the Fish eagle, Kingfishers, Bee eaters, the rare Shoebill, Heron ,Ducks etc

Day Three:  KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then head for Kibale national park. you will have lunch on your way as you proceed via Hoima to Fort portal arriving in the park late in the evening. Check in at the hotel of your choice or budget and freshen up as you prepare to visit the park which is a home to the biggest number of Chimpanzees in Uganda with a variety of other primates like baboons, monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, red tailed monkey and Colorful butterflies.

Day Four: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING
Wake up very early in the morning for breakfast then head to park headquarters at kanyankyu for briefing about the walk by the forest guides. Head to the forest in search of the chimpanzees and will walk through the different tracks in the forest in search of these apes. During the walk you will be entertained by different rhythms of colorful birds like blue headed sun bird, red faced woodland wabler, yellow spotted nectar, black eared ground thrush, blue breasted king fisher, crowned eagle etc and as you continue with the search you will be able to here sounds from the forest or loud beating from the tree tranks then your approaching the apes. On reaching them, you will watch the chimpanzees interact with each other with the young ones playing from tree branches as the elders comb the hair of the infants. Have some time with the apes, take pictures and record videos as you study their way of life. Return to your hotel for lunch and relax or go for a guided community walk. Here the guides will give you detailed information about the chimps and other primates then the forests flora and fauna thus making it an informative and interesting nature walk. Then return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day Five: KAMPALA
After an early morning breakfast, drive back to KAMPALA to catch up with your onward flight back home.
