3 days Lake Mburo NP

Day 1: Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and afterwards our safari guide will pick you from your hotel and you drive to the western part of Uganda heading to Lake Mburo national Park a safari that takes approximately 3-4 hours. You will have lunch on your way before proceeding to the park and as you enter the park, you will enjoy a game drive giving you a chance to view some of the animals that live in the park and these include: Burchell’s zebras, Oribis, Defassa waterbucks, Bohor reed-buck, impalas, elands and many others with a variety of colorful birds like African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike. The park covers an area of 260 sq km and it is said to be Uganda's smallest national park.
Check in at one of the lodges in the park to freshen and relax to prepare for the afternoon game drive in the park.



Day 2: Game drives in the Park
Rise up very early in the morning for a morning game drive and it is during this drive that you will be able to see the early rising animals then afterwards drive back to your lodge for late breakfast. After breakfasts enjoy a game drive as you head to the Salt lake area that is located between the wooden platform (which is the observing point) and here you will be able to see the various species of animals at any point in the park. At Lake Mburo national park you will be able to spot spot zebras and Impalas licking salt then the African Eland, Africa’s largest antelope, take pictures as you enjoy the wildlife and drive back to your lodge for lunch
After lunch drive heading to Nkokonjeru tombs where the last two Kings of Ankole kingdom were buried and here you will be given a brief story about the history of greater Ankole kingdom. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 3 : Back To Kampala
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and after wards prepare to begin your transit back to Kampala. On your way you will visit the Mpambire Royal drum village to see the ceremonial drums of the Buganda Kingdom then continue to catch up with your onward flight back home
